Core values

THE SUPREMACY OF GOD

We believe God is infinitely glorious, the source of all authentic and lasting fulfillment. Our passion is to make much of His greatness, in full recognition that the deepest human needs are met only as we find our satisfaction in Him. (Job 40:9-10, Isa 45:23, Ps 16:11)

THE AUTHORITY OF SCRIPTURE

We regard the Bible as inspired by the Holy Spirit of God, and is therefore authoritative in all matters. It is a story that unfailingly leads us to God’s life-giving message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. (2 Tim 3:16-17, Luke 24:25-27, Matt 4:4)

THE LIFE-GIVING NATURE OF THE GOSPEL

We proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ as the only message that can repair the broken relationship between mankind and God; it also possesses the power to cause continuing maturity in the life of the Christian. All of ministry must be informed by the Gospel. (Rom 1:16, John 10:10, John 14:6)

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF COMMUNITY

We recognize that God saves individual people into a corporate entity, the church, which Jesus Himself established and of which He is the head. Christian life should, therefore, be lived out in the context of the community of church, marked by mutual affection and humble service to God. (Eph 2:20-22, Heb 10:24-25, Col 1:18)

THE DEVOTION TO MISSION

We acknowledge that Jesus Christ has commissioned the church to proclaim the Gospel in every corner of the earth. Therefore, we must take responsibility in engaging both our community and the whole world with the reality of the gospel, seeking to make disciples of all nations. (Matt 28:18-20, Rom 10:13-15, Rev 7:9)
